If you have information about child sexual exploitation, it is important that it is reported to the right place.

If the exploitation is happening within the United States

If a child is in immediate danger, please contact 911.

Free a Girl and the Global Intelligence and Rescue Unit (GIRU) do not have law enforcement authority in the United States. For reporting suspected child sexual exploitation or abuse in the United States, please contact:

If the case involves transnational child sexual exploitation

You may contact GIRU if:

  • The suspected offender is a U.S. or other Western national, and
  • The abuse or exploitation is taking place outside the United States or Europe

This includes cases where individuals travel abroad or operate internationally to exploit children.

The Global Intelligence and Rescue Unit (GIRU) is an investigative unit of Free a Girl.

  • GIRU is not a law enforcement agency
  • GIRU does not have arrest or prosecution authority
  • GIRU works in collaboration with local partners and law enforcement agencies
